Did you ever wonder how a ‘normal” plastic kit could be turned into an exact replica of a subject or changed to be something totally different? The article starting on page 28 was written by Mark Batson, our hobby shop manager at The Great Escape in Spartanburg, SC. The article gives detailed information on the building of one of his most recent award winning models. This model is only one of the many award winning models produced by Mark. Mark is a master model builder whose work has been awarded numerous Best in Show awards in both Southeast and National competitions.
