Get Educated!
Ever get stuck in a conversation with someone crying about how terrible things are, and then when you ask this person what they're doing to fix things you get the absolute blankest of blank stares? Or (gasp!) have you been guilty of maybe being that person once or twice in your otherwise flawless history as a conversationalist? Well if you or someone you know is the kind of cyclist who can't help but go off once and awhile about how much more bike friendly Greenville could and should be, then make a point to attend the upcoming briefing and input session concerning the future park development along the Reedy River west of downtown Greenville as well as the city wide trail system master plan. Presented by the City of Greenville, this meeting will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 6:00 at the Hughes Main Library near downtown Greenville. This will be a great opportunity not only to find out what's in store for our area as far as becoming (hopefully) more bike friendly is concerned, but also to give your input and share your vision for a more progressive Greenville. The only way to make Greenville safer for cyclists is for all of us who love to ride to get invlolved! Safe riding!
